1. About Vinn.is

Vinn.is is a digital job marketplace where employers can publish job advertisements and job seekers can browse, save and apply for jobs. Vinn.is is not the employer, recruitment agency or party to an employment agreement unless explicitly stated otherwise.

2. Employer accounts and advertisements

An employer is responsible for ensuring that its registration information and job advertisements are accurate, lawful and not misleading. Vinn.is may edit presentation, suspend or remove content that breaches these terms, applicable law or normal standards of the service.

Published advertisements remain in the system history even if an employer takes them out of publication. This is necessary for billing, audit history and operational records.

3. Fees and billing

The first standard job advertisement for each company registration number may be free when the offer is active. Thereafter the standard price is ISK 12,900 excluding VAT per advertisement for up to 60 days, unless another price is clearly shown before publication.

A charge is created when a paid advertisement is published. Taking an advertisement out of publication, closing it early or changing its content does not automatically cancel the charge. Invoices are issued manually and may be sent to the employer through its registered billing channels.

4. Job seekers and applications

Job seekers are responsible for information submitted in profiles, CVs and applications. Employers receive application data only in connection with jobs for which the user applies through Vinn.is. Employers are responsible for their own recruitment decisions and subsequent processing of applicant information.

5. Availability and liability

Vinn.is aims to keep the service available and accurate but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, that every advertisement is error-free, or that an application results in employment. Liability is limited to the extent permitted by mandatory law.

6. Misuse, suspension and changes

Accounts may be suspended where there is suspected misuse, false information, unlawful content, security risk or unpaid obligations. Vinn.is may update these terms as the service develops. Material changes will be presented with an updated date and, where appropriate, additional notice.
